Photo Friday: What would the covers look like in print?

Kind of like this, actually. No, these aren’t “for sale” print books. These are the copies we printed for Rita entries last winter. They looked really pretty on the table, all stacked up together like that, and I snapped a few pictures. We did print a few extra copies, so I’ve got one of each displayed at my desk. And, you know, there might be a few left for a giveaway…hm….

I think I am in book heaven. Seeing all these books stacked together in all their glory makes my heart beats just a little faster. It’s even better when I click on the pictures for higher resolutions pictures. I’m mostly a print reader and wished these were available in print form. Keep up the great work Carina Press!!

OMG! They’re beautiful! I craned my head, peered into the system, trying to place all the books…that my DH had a good laugh out of my antics!!!

And so many of them.. :sigh: I am desperately trying not to feel jealous here.. LOL!

  5. OH MY they are fabulous!!! I DO hope there’ll be a giveaway *grin* :)

What’s so funny is the pictures made me understand why some readers are resistant to e-books: you just feel giddy and greedy looking at books!

oooh, these are so pretty! So who do we have to bribe to get print copies??? I would LOVE to have Dee Tenorio and Shannon Stacey’s books in print!!! I need my faves in both print and e-book formats. smiles…

  9. Lately I’ve been reading a lot of e-books. I’ve been on the road a lot and have to take my laptop anyway …
But looking at that pile of books just makes me drool. There is nothing like the look, smell and feel of a new book. There is a special feeling to holding a novel while you sip your morning coffee.
I’d love to stay and chat, but I hear the bookstore calling.

  10. Those are awesome. What is great, I’ve read some of those too!!

  11. What great photos!! Feel honored to be mixed in with all those superb authors! :)

  12. So pretty! Is that chocolate on the top left hand side?? Having these on my shelves feels very nice. The covers look gorgeous all displayed like that.

  13. I just wish I’d entered BOTH of my books…
