We all love them, but the best stories come from the really flawed characters. In one of my most favorites, the H is missing an eye. Another is the h has many burn scars. I love intense stories and a lot of times, it comes from characters that would never be described as perfect in any way. I love the chemistry that evolves between a couple.

What one person finds attractive, another person doesn’t. You have to click with someone in all areas. Besides, looks can fade over time. So you can’t base a relationship on that.

Almost always it’s because of how they act with each other rather than how they look. Heroes and heroines with physical flaws can also make them interesting and it gives them to find love beyond the physical.
