What’s Your Favorite Movie?

What movie does your character love the most?

Megan Feuer is the Fire Amazon–the heroine of The Impetuous Amazon. That means she not only has the ability to use fire as a weapon, but she has a hot, sensual streak in her personality. What better movie for Megan than the classic Gone with the Wind? Not only does she get to enjoy the scenes of Atlanta burning–especially if she knows that the studio actually burned down several real movie sets to create the effect of a city aflame–but her sexy side would warm to the sexual chemistry between Clark Gable and Vivian Leigh.

Hey, I’m Reid Galvin, they guy from Covert Seduction. Since I’m an active duty Navy SEAL, I don’t get a lot of down time. When I do get the chance to kick back in front of a movie with a cold beer, my all time favorite pick without a doubt would be Black Hawk Down. That movie freaking rocks. Way better than Act of Valor (yeah, the acting was bad—dude, they were SEALs, not actors!) or Zero Dark Thirty (damn ST6 gets all the love). I made Becca watch it with me last week and the action scenes kinda freaked her out, so she got really…clingy. Worked out real well in my favor later on! Damn, I love that flick even more now.

Kate Franklin is a beautiful, wealthy artist who has been married to (and Wrongfully Accused of killing) a software genius and a congressman, both of whom put their own needs first. She fell deeply, irrevocably in love once, but her forbidden lover shut her out of his life completely, as though their passion had never existed.

Kate has watched Bram Stoker’s Dracula at least a dozen times, not only because she enjoys the erotic scenes but because Gary Oldman as Dracula is so passionate about his wife (Winona Rider) that he follows her through time, letting nothing stand in his way—not even death—to find her and reclaim her as his own. There’s a certain pig-headed D.C. police detective Kate wishes would watch the movie and take the hint.

  1. I love the movie Frequency! It has it all, intrigue, romance, timeline interference. Fireman. Cops. Jim Caviezel. Love it!

  2. Actually, I love that one too, partly because of Jim Caviezel but also because my father was a fire fighter and he’s my personal hero!

  3. I was thinking, in order: Body Heat (because they did, after all, set the screen on fire!), Black Hawk Down (definitely), and the Dracula with Frank Langella because he was even sexier as far as I recall! For me, there’s an old MOW called Hardhat and Legs that conjures up the characters in my contemporary love story of a construction worker and a retiring young lady professor or erotic classics who learns that book learning is lovely, but a hands on education? That can burn up the sheets. Good luck all with these new and fun releases.

  4. Ha ha, thanks! And I LOVE Body Heat! Has anyone seen Firelight with Sophie Marceau and that hot guy… I can’t remember his name. That’s a wonderful movie. Talking about burning up the sheets!
