Joe and Min’s second adventure spans England, Wales and North America and sees them mixing it with werewolf bikers, modern mercenaries, old-fashioned sea pirates, warring British iron age tribes, wise women, wizards, angels, Cornish piskies and elves, an injured Bigfoot, a fierce mermaid and a Green Man of the forest.
Several reviewers of QUARTER SQUARE remarked that while they loved Joe they didn’t like Min so much, and it’s true that she didn’t appear in a very favourable light in Book 1 of the WILD TIMES series. Not to put too fine a point on it, she was a frightened control freak who got him into all sorts of trouble until he grew a pair and took charge of his life.
I love Min. She’s the character who will grow more than any other in this series, and in GOLDEN TRIANGLE she starts that difficult journey. I hope readers will warm to her. To help you travel with her and grow to love her, in this book I’ve given her a point-of-view voice alongside Joe’s.
Enjoy!

Joe Walker was once a regular guy—until he discovered the truth about his past lives and magical abilities. He’s also been reunited with his immortal lover, Min, though they’ve been forced into hiding by Tyac, a werewolf who will stop at nothing to destroy them.
When their nemesis reappears, an old friend sends Joe back into the supernatural realm known as the Wild—and away from Min. He takes sanctuary at a lake that’s a gateway to an even more extraordinary world, where golden angels embark on dangerous quests for power.
But as Joe gets to know these mysterious beings, both he and the goldens are being hunted by enemies old and new. When a betrayal puts Joe in imminent danger, he and Min must find their way back together before dark forces tear them apart for good.
David Bridger settled with his family and their two monstrous dogs in England’s West Country after twenty years of ocean-based fun, during which he worked as a lifeguard, a sailor, an intelligence gatherer and an investigator. He writes science fiction and fantasy, and his favourite way of doing nothing is a quiet afternoon sailing on the River Tamar while stormy characters stomp through his mind.
Hi David! This sounds like a winner! Congratulations and many happy sales!
Thanks, Shawna, and many happy sales to you too!
